If you have run any executable once and wish to run it again, you have to click on the reload button on HotJava after you go to the executable home page.

We recommend to start the window system in default 24 bit mode to
achieve the highest display quality. Please follow these steps:
Be sure to replace Electron FFDB with Ultra 1 Creator!
To start openwin in 24 bit mode on Electron FFDB:
/usr/openwin/bin/openwin -dev /dev/fbs/ffb0 defdepth 24
To start CDE in 24 bit on Electron FFDB:
As root,
# mkdir -p /etc/dt/config
# mkdir /etc/dt/appconfig
# cp /usr/dt/config/Xservers /etc/dt/config/.
# cp /usr/dt/config/Xconfig /etc/dt/config/.
edit the /etc/dt/config/Xservers file and
change the Xsun startup command line to
include -dev /dev/ffb0 defdepth 24.
# reboot
